CATEGORIES:

For the first time, CISOLAR AWARDS 2017 will recognize excellence in project development, best products and outstanding personalities in the field of solar energy in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Organizing Committee starts to accept applications for the contest from February 19th and will continue until March 27th inclusive. Voting will take place from 28 to 31 March. CISOLAR AWARDS ceremony will be held on April 12 during CISOLAR-2017, the 6th International conference and exhibition for solar energy industry of Central and Eastern Europe, that will be held on April 11-12 in Odessa (the Ukrainian city on the Black Sea coast).

The CISOLAR AWARDS 2017 is the first contest in the field of solar energy for the European emerging markets.

Projects must meet the following requirements:
1.1. Projects are implemented (put into operation) in the period from January 1, 2015 to February 1, 2017.
1.2. Projects are implemented in the national markets of Europe, developing in particular in the countries: Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.

Form of submission of the project for the competition:
1. The completed application form and presentation of the project / s should be sent to E-mail: cisolar@ibcentre.org.
2. The presentation should reflect the following aspects:
– Economic advantages and achievements of the project,
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence),
– Environmental impact and project safety.
3. Given the international composition of the jury, the main language for submitting the project is English. It is also possible to submit the project in Ukrainian and Russian, while the project should contain a summary in English.

Methodology of project evaluation:
– Economic advantages and achievements of the project (45%),
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence (25%),
– Environmental impact and project safety (25%),
– Presentation of the project (5%).

Medium-scale PV plant

Projects must meet the following requirements:
1.1. Projects are implemented (put into operation) in the period from January 1, 2015 to February 1, 2017.
1.2. Projects are implemented in the national markets of Europe, developing in particular in the countries: Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.

Form of submission of the project for the competition:

2. The presentation should reflect the following aspects:
– Economic advantages and achievements of the project,

– The product is in the field of solar energy, at the stage of industrial production, already has consumers in the solar energy markets of European countries.

2. The presentation should reflect the following points:
– Uniqueness of the product,
– The economic advantages of this product,
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence),
– Environmental impact and product safety.
3. Given the international composition of the jury, the main language for submitting the project is English.
Methodology for evaluating projects submitted in this category:
– Product uniqueness (20%)
– The economic advantages of this product (30%),
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence) (25%),
– Environmental impact and product safety (20%),
– Presentation of the product (5%).

Investment project in field of solar energy

Projects must meet the following requirements:
1.1. Projects as of February 1, 2017 are at the “paper stage” of implementation.
1.2. The implementation of projects is envisaged in the national markets of Europe, developing in particular in the countries: Ukraine, Poland, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Moldova, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.
Form of submission of work for the competition:
1. The completed form and presentation of the project / s should be sent to E-mail: cisolar@ibcentre.org.
2. The presentation should reflect the following aspects:
– The economic benefits and achievements of the project are calculated,
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence),
– The uniqueness of the future project,
– Environmental impact and project safety.
3. Given the international composition of the jury, the main language for submitting the project is English.

Methodology for evaluating projects submitted in this category:
– Uniqueness of the project (15%)
– The economic advantages of this product (35%),
– Technology and innovation (including documentary evidence) (25%),
– Environmental impact and product safety (20%),
– Presentation of the product (5%).
